Multilevel classification using the dialog box
Step 1. Select the entire data set you want to sort.
Step 2. Click the Data tab.
Step 3. Click the Sort & Filter icon.
Step 4. Click on Custom Order
Step 5. In the Sort dialog box, make the following selections:
1. Sort by (column): Zone (this is the first level of sorting)
2. Sort by: Cell values
3. Order: A to Z
4. If your data has headers shoppers canada post make sure 'My data has headers' is checked.
Step 6. Click Add Level (this will add another level of sorting options).
Step 7. In the second level of sorting, make the following selections:
1. Then by (Column): Sales
2. Sort by: Cell values
3. Order: From largest to smallest
Step 8. Click OK
When you sort data in Excel using the sort dialog box, you have the option to add multiple levels to it.

Here are the steps to perform a multi-level sort in Excel using the dialog box :

Step 1. Select the entire data set you want to sort.
Step 2. Click the Data tab.
Step 3. Click the Sort & Filter icon.
Step 4. Click on Custom Order
