Design of the Twitter reviews pilot

The Telefoongids wants to make its website more attractive for visitors and enrich the information. Reviews in particular play an important role for the visitor to arrive at an objective judgment. The company therefore investigated various sources of reviews, including Twitter.

Twitter reviews
We, Cynthia van Parreren (de Telefoongids) and Sjoerd Reijnen (Jalt), therefore started a pilot in November in which we investigate whether Twitter is a suitable source of reviews for the website. In this blog post we discuss our considerations, findings brother cell phone list and of course the result.



Research prior to the pilot showed that many tweets were found about hospitality companies in particular. That is why we decided to focus the pilot entirely on this sector. The pilot works as follows:

Tweets containing a value judgment about a company were identified;
Via the account @ReviewsDTG , Twitter users were asked whether their tweet could be forwarded to detelefoongids.nl;
Twitter users are given the opportunity to respond to this via: https://over.detelefoongids.nl/reviews.html
We wait 7 days to give Twitter users a chance to respond. If they don't respond, the tweet is reposted.
Tweets are reposted on the website of the company concerned, including a source reference.
